 The Homeless Soldier

The poem was influenced by the trauma of losing friends to suicide whilst serving, which is connected with the plight of homeless veterans.

The exposure of the statue is attempting to seek acknowledgement and raise awareness of the lack of support for returned service personnel.

Commander's Commendation Honoured for exceptional dedication and professionalism during Op Bali Assist, October 2002. Recognised for the critical aeromedical evacuation of severely injured Australians and Foreign Nationals from Bali to Darwin.
